Mark   19/3/2002	RE: Piano-Quintet IP: Logged Message: The only existing recording is a 1977 Adriano Records LP featuring the Zurich Piano Quintet giving a well recorded and effective performance. This had very limited circulation outside Switzerland itself and never made the transfer to CD. Coincidentally, I've recently had a short exchange of emails with the producer of the LP, the same Adriano who has conducted some recent Naxos CDs of Templeton-Strong's works, and he confirmed that his stock of the LP has long since run out. More positively, German recording house Dabringhaus & Grimm (MDG) have already recorded the Ensemble Villa Musica of Stuttgart playing the Piano Quintet together with the String Sextet. I have no firm issue date but it will presuably be issued during 2002..
