Subject: AUS THURINGEN / ITALIAN SUITE
Message:
Dear Friends:
Last week I toured an interesting "safari" troghout little music shops in the Center of my City.
I found a Marco Polo CD, in bad state, without cover and brochure, and full of powder. Finally, I bought it only for € 5´00 a new Raff´s CD: "Aus Thuringen and Italian Suite".
I listened it inmeditely, with great attention, and, like forever Raff not deceives to me. I like this "souvenirs" from Thuringen and Italy. This works dont´t have the same hierarchy of great Raff Symphonies (for me 3, 4, 5, 6.. and 7(*)), but are very funny both.
I like very much, and enjoy a lot with the last two movements of Thuringen, and with the Italian "Barcarole".
I´ll appreciate your very expert opinions about this works and this versions, and If somebody can send to me an Scanered document with the cover of this CD.
Like forever, excuse me for my bad english. I promise to learn seriously english since today.
Best regards from Barcelona,
Fernando.
(*) I beg your pardon, I love this work specially, because I climbed mountains in Pyrinees and "In den Alpen". In 1991, I climbed Gren Paraiso d´Aosta and
1995 Monte Rosa (Signalskuppe). |
