Subject: GREETINGS FROM BARCELONA

Message:

Dear Friends and "Rafficionados":

I have a little bit of free time, and I want to give kind regards to my Forum Raff Friends.
I am still searching for Raff 2 nd. Violin Sonata. I ordered CPO´s CD on my usual music shop and they will try to find.
I listened several times Scharwenka Piano Concertos. Both are great and I love its polish-yiddish folk airs.
I discovered Korngold music, and I love so much his Straussian-Mahlerian style, flirting with the atonality. I have bought his Symphony in F sharp coupled with "Much Ado about nothing", suite after Shakespeare, and his superb and much romantic Violin Concedrto in E minor.
I also accepted challenge to listen Ives music, and enjoyed a lot with his 2 nd. Symphony... despite I don´t like much his "Robert Browning Overture".
Thanks to all my friends for their recommendations.
Like ever, excuse me for my bad english and have greetings from BArcelona.
Cheers,

Fernando.
