Almost all of Raff's output was published in his lifetime or shortly thereafter, but little of it was re-published. Surviving editions therefore usually feature floridly engraved title pages, reflecting both the taste of the times and Raff's high standing as a composer. Of particular interest are the USA editions of his songs, published at a time when there was no universal copyright agreement.
